The Trilobite Cockroach(Laxta sp.) is a native species to Australia that spends most of its time under leaf litter or under logs. They live in small colonies and can communicate with each other using scent. The young have broad extensions around their bodies.

This cockroach is similar to the woodlouse. The only difference is that they are brown in color and have antennae.
